Had no idea of what this would become when I started it. It all started with me trying some different ways to pick up a ball/sphere through blueprint.
I then became curious with the projectile movement and it's bounciness you could add. It slowly led to this prototype where you have to deactivate dangerous cubes to proceed.
Now, you mine the deactivated cubes by putting them on a platform and shoot a button. I feel though, the carrying and the button pressing is not in proportion with the fun crazy ball shooting bounciness. It kind of gives a silent disturbance in the gameplay.
Am thinking to add a mana system so you can mine the cubes where they are. You would then run up to them, hold in a button to mine all the deactivated cubes in range. This would take some mana and to regain mana you have to run to these station and fill up.
Something that needs testing of course, but think it will help keeping the games flow in a better way.
